Elsberry flood aid still in progress, supplies needed
ELSBERRY - Mother Nature unleashed a devastating surprise to Elsberry last month when over 10 inches of rain displaced residents, damaged businesses and caused others to lose everything. Nearly three weeks later, assessment and next steps are in limbo.“Until we really get some figures back from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), and stuff like that we haven't got a total on everything and we have to meet a ceiling before FEMA comes in, if they do,” said Elsberry Mayor Steve Wilch.
